In the September DTS, we desire to know God more deeply. We long to be transformed by His love, reach out to the world around us and to sharing that love through mercy and justice to those around us. We seek to live a lifestyle of intimacy and surrender and to encourage each other as we learn to walk in the way of Jesus, both in Amsterdam and the nations.
Be Prepared to:
- Engage in 12 full lecture weeks on topics such as
the Nature and Character of God, Jesus and the Cross, Holy Spirit, Spiritual Warfare, Identity, Missions and more
- Spread the Gospel in Amsterdam in radical ways
- Spending time in the House of Prayer
- Live and eat in community
- Have people speak words of direction and encouragement into your life
- Travel to other countries to share the message of Jesus for 10 weeks
- Practical work on the missions base and outreach training
- Know God and make Him known
Know God, Make Him Known
In YWAM some of our core values are "to know God & to make Him known".
Within the DTS we will aim to incorporate this into everything that we do. We believe that God is present and knowable. In the DTS we will get to know Him through His word, hearing His voice, prayer, worship, and living in Christ-centred community.
We believe relationship with God can transform us entirely (2Cor 5:17), affecting our worldview, actions, and relationships.
The Great Commission
We believe it is our collective responsibility to contribute to fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28: 16-20): making Jesus known, discipling the nations, and living a lifestyle of justice and compassion.
Within the DTS this looks like us addressing people's spiritual and physical needs both during lecture phase and on outreach.
We'd love to have you join us!
At least 18 years old or have completed high school.
Tuition fees, food, and housing included.
Flights for outreach are included.
Training Phase: T.B.A
During the outreach phase we seek to share God's love in the countries in which we're serving. We aim to have our teams participate in a variety of different ministries such as evangelism, child/youth ministry, mercy ministry, and church involvement. We're excited to see the Gospel come alive as we step out in faith to preach the good news, baptize new believers and heal the sick (Mark 16:15-18). More information about specific outreach locations will be given during the lecture phase.
