Media & Communications Team
We communicate the gospel as well as YWAM Amsterdam’s vision through various platforms, both online as offline. Our goal is to make others excited about Jesus, to introduce people to missions, and to build/maintain connections all over the world. We express our creativity through Content Creation, our Website, Social Media, Newsletters, Fundraising, and much more!
Staff Journey Team
The focus of Staff Journey is to serve our staff at YWAM Amsterdam. Our heart and vision is to see each individual in our community flourish; trained and equipped to do what they are called to do. We support staff through their application process, their arrival in the Netherlands and their discipleship and development whilst they’re part of our staff community.
Member Care Team
Member Care has the vision to see YWAM Amsterdam’s Staff walking in the fullness of its identity, dignity, and destiny through the provision of mentorship, teaching, accountability, and pastoral care primarily for the Base and the city of Amsterdam through its in-reach and outreach focus. Our prayer is that all may know the hope to which he has called us and understand the riches of his glorious inheritance for the Saints.
Accounting Team
The accounting team analyses, presents and reports about the financial information of YWAM Amsterdam in order to enable the organization to look towards the future in order to invest in our work.The team ensures that all transactions are conducted in accordance with the laws, and are timely and appropriate for the preparation of financial statements.
Maintenance Team
We have an amazing opportunity to teach and release people into building God's kingdom. That requires builders and buildings. These historic structures need some love every day as well as capital improvements to transform them to meet the growing needs of our community. If you are handy, we have a place for you. Gezellig!
Kitchen Team
The kitchen here at YWAM Amsterdam serves over 1,000 meals a year to hundreds of missionaries. The team behind the kitchen supports YWAM Amsterdam in a very practical way, by providing breakfast, lunch and dinner each day to our staff, students and visitors.
Events Team
More than organizing events, it's an opportunity to serve the base, ministries and its people to see God given vision and calling become a reality. It looks like serving practically and leading spiritually to see this base step into what God has called it to be.
Hosting Outreaches Team
We love to host teams from different schools or programs, churches and groups who want to reach out and make God known. YWAM and non-YWAM, all are welcome. You can go out on the streets or join alongside our ministries and see God’s heart for this city.
Hospitality Team
We love to receive people from everywhere and make them feel part of our community. As a hospitality team our goal is to ensure that each guest feels welcome here at De Poort.
Anchor Team
The Anchor is the cafe on our main campus in Amsterdam. As the Anchor Team we create a welcoming space and tasty drinks. We aim to have our cafe as a place to build community.
Reception Team
The reception team is welcoming the people who are coming in as our guests, students, and full time workers in De Poort building. We are the first contact by meeting people face to face, answering the phone, writing emails, and helping people to get in touch with the right people in our community. We love people and desire to be hospitable!
