Displeship Training School

WHAT IS A DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL?

The DTS is a five- to six-month, full-time Christian training program that blends classroom learning, small group activities, personal reflection, practical service, and community living.
The training is divided into two courses: the lecture course and the field assignment course (outreach), both of which are required.
The DTS is designed to help you discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world.
DTS is required to serve in YWAM globally and the prerequisite for most other courses in the University of the Nations.

Lecture Phase:
TO Know God

During the lecture course, your focus will be on knowing God, His Word, and His world. You will seek transformation, a renewed mind, and personal growth through lessons from teachers, community living, and practical training.

OUTREACH PHASE:
TO MAKE HIM KNOWN

During the outreach phase, you will go cross-culturally in a smaller team to share God’s love. The teams will participate in a variety of different ministries, such as evangelism, child/youth ministry and mercy ministries. We’re excited to see the Gospel come alive as we step out in faith to preach the good news and heal the sick (Mark 16:15-18). More information about specific outreach locations will be given during the lecture phase.
