What is DBS?

The Discipleship Bible School is a transformative 3-month journey from Genesis to Revelation. DBS makes the Scriptures come alive, helping you to understand God's story and your place in it. Through engaging lectures, daily small groups, and personal study, you will experience the Bible in a new and profound way—with a focus on God’s Character and Nature, His plan of redemption for creation, and finding ways on how to practically apply the things you learn.

At the end of the school, you will have an understanding of the overall story of the Bible, as well as have the practical know-how on how to present it, and you will have the skills to study any passage in the Bible and lead people through it together.

Program Structure

DBS combines classroom learning, group reading times, and self study times. You'll explore the Bible's historical context, learn the Inductive Bible Study method, and learn how the Old and New Testaments connect, as well as how the Bible is one, simple, story.Weekly themes cover major biblical periods in chronological order. Some examples of the weekly topics are: Pentateuch, Kings, Early prophets, Jesus week, and many more.

DBS is for anyone longing to know God better through His Word and for those who desire to know what the Bible actually says. Whether you are a new believer or have been following Jesus for years, DBS offers a fresh, immersive way to encounter God in the Scriptures. It is open to those who have completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and are ready to go deeper in their walk with Him.
